Financing Guidelines : Digital Participative Securities

Practical guide

Use a fundraising process so that cooperatives can “monetize” their assets and broaden the circle of investors with impact investments. The cooperative can issue Digital Participatory Securities (DPS), in order to allow its members and investors to acquire either a fraction of the asset or the whole of it with the rights attached to it.

The tokenization thus makes it possible to “split” the rights of the asset and to be able to negotiate (to sell and buy) these divided participative securities, more easily and in a more fluid way, taking into account reduced amounts, a facilitated transfer and a reduction of the size of the investment ticket.
Thanks to this reinforcement in equity, the cooperatives will be able to continue investing.
